Oh happy days

My Oxfords came in yesterday and I couldn't be happier! They are so perfect I think I might buy them in black too. But my current ones will always be loved and memorialized in my banner above. (thanks to my brother for making it for me!)

I am excited about getting this blog really going, but maybe not as excited as my Mom was watching Zenyatta (the racehorse) race today. Seriously, I don't think I have ever seen her that exited. Not even at my high school graduation. Or my first steps. Then she compared horseraces to the Superbowl. Problem is that The Kentucky Derby doesn't have commercials that you actually want to watch.

I also bought this really great military jacket today. I was so excited about it and its price that I got a size too small and now it won't button. Oh well, I already took the tags off and who cares if it won't button? I don't.
