Twenty Something

When I woke up this morning, my house on 60 degrees. 60 degrees! Needless to say I was freezing cold. I had no idea it was going to be so cold considering I was sweating on Monday. But I looked at the weather on my phone (while still hiding under the covers) and saw it was 38 degrees outside. Well, that explains the cold house. But that also meant that my perfectly picked out outfit from when I was lying in bed the night before went out the window. Because...well, I'm a wuss and I don't do well in the cold if I'm not properly dressed.

So I quickly switched gears to jeans (with tights underneath for added warmth!) and a scarf. I have been wanting to try the belted scarf look for a while and I think that it really worked today. I wore my perfectly picked out outfit to work later in the day since I can't wear jeans to work. So I got two outfits for today! And I ended up liking my thrown together outfit with the scarf more than the perfectly picked out outfit. It didn't look as good on as I thought it would. But hey, you win some you lose some.

Twenty: Shirt and Belt: Gift, Scarf and Boots: Old Navy, Jeans: Target
Twenty-one: Dress: TJ Maxx, Cardigan and Boots: Old Navy, Socks: F21, Tights: Target, Belt: Gift

I absolutely loved your scarf yesterday. You inspired me to try the belted scarf look myself.

You were the belted scarf look well. I don't pull it off so well. I really like the tights in your perfectly picked out outfit.
